Commercial & Industrial Building Insulation
Polyurethane sprayed foam insulation provides the ideal solution to commercial and industrial insulation problems; offering cost-effective, fast and reliable insulation for virtually any building. Foam insulation applied to the interior of a commercial or industrial building will provide outstanding thermal insulation values, higher acoustic insulation values, lower fuel costs and an improved working environment. Spray insulation can also be applied to the outside of the roof, when used with specialised coatings, to seal and waterproof older leaking roofs and greatly increase thermal and acoustic insulation.
Foam roof insulation is used extensively in commercial and industrial buildings, not only to increase insulation but also to eliminate condensation problems. When applied to metal roofs, spray foam insulation can eliminate condensation with as little as 25mm depth of foam. Using spray foam can eliminate condensation without having to replace or refurbish the roof, saving time, money and disruption and helping protect stock, machinery and employees.
Foam insulation used externally will also eliminate condensation, but with the added benefit of sealing, waterproofing and insulating the roof and greatly increasing the lifespan of the building.
Foam insulation can be used in many different commercial and industrial buildings, including:
- Exhibition Halls
- Manufacturing Units
Spray foam insulation provides some of the best insulation values per depth available on the market, allowing commercial and industrial buildings to be brought up to modern standards more easily than with other forms of insulation.
Due to the nature of application, spray foam also provides better air-tightness in a building and allows much more efficient heating or cooling systems to be used. As the foam is applied directly to the roof, foam insulation also keeps buildings cooler in summer as well as warmer in winter. Polyurethane spray foam is manufactured to BS476 Part 7 Class 1 with regard to surface spread of flame, sufficient for the vast majority of buildings, however, we can provide a Class 0 system should this be required.
As registered suppliers with the Carbon Trust, we can help companies looking to improve their insulation apply for a Carbon Trust Energy Efficiency Loan. These loans are available to small and medium sized businesses looking to improve their energy efficiency, and therefore lower their carbon emissions, and are interest-free for all qualifying companies.
